We've had months and months now with ice and snow and below-freezing temps. Today was still cold, but we managed to get out for a half an hour or so to jump around in the front yard, blow bubbles, and race down the sidewalk. The snow was too powdery to pack, so we couldn't build a good snowman. Maybe next weekend. I'm starting to see why people say Chicago only has two seasons -- winter and construction. The winter isn't bad every year, but when it is, it certainly makes an impression!
