One of the many perks of our location in Evanston is living so close to Ryan Field, home of my beloved Northwestern Wildcats. Jason is still trying to raise Molly as a Nebraska fan, but after yesterday's tailgate and high five with Willie the Wildcat, I think we may have a little Northwestern fan on our hands.
Susie, Sean, and Sean's dad Joe also have season tickets, so we met them a few hours before the game for beers (juice for Molly) and sausages. Jason unfortunately missed a big chunk of the tailgating having to deal with University police after a student accidentally backed into our car (doh!), but Molly had an excellent time stuffing her face with pretzels and dancing to music in the parking lot.

Even Jason got into the game, which Northwestern won 22-13 vs Boston College. The score is a little deceiving, since we led most of the game by just a few points and had trouble getting in the end zone. But our record so far this season is 3-0, and I think we have a good chance to win the next 2 games vs South Dakota and Indiana. The true test will be the game vs Nebraska on October 20. Go 'Cats!
